GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS

In conjunction with your trip reservation, please furnish us with a photocopy of your passport and remit a non-refundable 20% deposit of the total trip cost. This deposit, once submitted, serves as a commitment fee and is non-refundable in the event of a trip cancellation after booking. The remaining balance can be settled upon your arrival in Kathmandu, prior to commencing your trek/tour. Your adherence to these conditions is integral to a seamless booking process and ensures the initiation of a remarkable journey.

PAYGATE PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

  2. Delivery policy
    Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 days and delivery confirmed by way email .
    (for e.g. booking number / booking voucher etc. and must mention the use of courier and/or postal services and associated costs, if applicable.)
  3. Return and Refunds policy
    The provision of goods and services by (Your Company) is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, (Your Company) will refund the client
    in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 50% administration fee.

  4. Customer Privacy policy
    Neovantis shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal

  5. Payment options accepted
    Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Neovantis bank account, the
    details of which will be provided on request.
  6. Card acquiring and security
    Card transactions will be acquired for (Your Company) via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African
    Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on
    the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
  7. Customer details separate from card details
    Customer details will be stored by (Your Company) separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site.

  8. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
    The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is
    South African Rand (ZAR).
  9. Responsibility
    (Your Company) takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,
    customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
  10. Country of domicile
    This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and (Your Company) chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under
    this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
  11. Variation
    (Your Company) may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

TRIP POSTPONEMENT

If you are unable to undertake the journey on the scheduled dates for any reason, kindly furnish us with written notice.

FREE TRIP POSTPONEMENT

Following the confirmation of your trip, if you are unable to travel on the designated dates due to COVID-19 concerns, you have the flexibility to postpone the trip to alternative dates, ensuring safety and convenience. This allows you the freedom to choose dates that align with your comfort to travel again, and we extend this service to our clients without any additional charges.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you decide to cancel your trip, please note that the 20% deposit submitted upon booking will be regarded as a trip cancellation fee. This policy takes effect immediately after confirming your reservation, and the 20% deposit is non-refundable. If the amount paid exceeds the trip deposit, the 20% deposit will be deducted from that sum, and the remaining balance will be refunded through the original payment method.

RISKS AND LIABILITIES

All Nepal, China, and Bhutan tours adhere strictly to the rules and regulations set forth by the respective countries’ tourism boards. We disclaim liability for changes or cancellations under circumstances beyond our control, including alterations in country regulations, government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, flight cancellations, delays, illnesses, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, etc. Clients are responsible for any additional costs incurred due to such circumstances, making travel insurance highly advisable.

INCOMPLETE TOUR

We do not entertain requests for refunds in the event of an incomplete tour, trek, or expedition, regardless of the reason from the customer’s side.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

In case of trip cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, war, or adverse climatic conditions, an alternative trip will be arranged. Your investment remains secure, and though the chosen trip may differ, your funds will not be lost.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is mandatory for all clients participating in our adventures to possess comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accidents, emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, loss of gear, natural calamities, and theft or damage to baggage and personal effects.

FLIGHT DELAY/CANCELLATION

Flight delays and cancellations are frequent in remote areas, especially during adverse weather conditions in regions like Everest, Annapurna, Dolpo, Simikot, and Jumla. It is advisable to carry extra funds for food and accommodations during delays, as NHT assumes no responsibility for additional expenses. Adequate planning is recommended.

DURING THE TOUR

Engaging in any unlawful activities during your tour, leading to your expulsion from Nepal, absolves Intrepid Adventures of any liability for refunds.
